NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids are invited by the Cordova Recreation and Park District, Rancho Cordova, CA for construction of: Cordova Community Pool Replacement

The Cordova Recreation and Park District (District) is requesting bids from properly licensed contractors for construction in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. A Class A General Contractor’s License is required for this project. The pool contractor is required to have a C-53 license.

The scope of work includes: one new 10-lane swimming pool, one activity pool with two additional lap lanes, new 3,604 square-foot equipment/locker room building, new pool decking with pedestrian lighting, new fencing in pool area, replacement of existing fencing to meet “no climb over” requirement and related site work. The Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for the Base Bid is $7.2 million.

Bids and bidder’s Statement of Experience will be examined, evaluated, and as appropriate, recommended to the CRPD Board of Directors at a meeting within approximately sixty (60) days after the final date of Bid acceptance. CRPD reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid or in the Bid procedure, or to postpone the final date of Bid acceptance or award for good cause. CRPD hereby notifies all Contractors that it will affirmatively ensure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this bid, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit Bids in response to this request and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award.
